FAQs & Lead Times

*The standard stippling lead time is approximately 18-20 weeks and the "Reduced Lead Time Service" is approximately 8-10 weeks (visit that specific service page for full details). Please refrain from contacting us to ask for an update unless you have waited past your stated lead time. If you are unsure if your mailed in package arrived, please double check your package tracking number, as well as the signature confirmation for verification. To keep the process streamlined, you will only receive an email when you place your order and when your order has been completed and is shipping out.

*Lead times may be extended due to any sales, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies.

Q1. I am local to the Los Angeles area, can I purchase a product or service in person? A. Yes. While we do not have a brick and mortar store, you can still schedule a pick up or drop off by appointment. Please contact us before placing your order.

Q2.I purchased *insert part/accessory name here*, how do I install it? A. We always recommend getting parts installed by a certified Armorer. We are not responsible for any improperly installed parts. We may offer installation on certain items, contact us with any questions.

Q3. What is your return/refund policy? A. All returns/cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee after 24 hours of placing your order, once an order is shipped we cannot refund your order. Any mail in Stippling Service orders are subject to a 15% cancellation fee after 24 hours of placing your order. Any grips or frames that are Made to Order are non-refundable after the 24 hour period due to the preparation process and setting aside each grip for individual orders. All of these fees cover the credit card processing fees we incur ourselves as well as the time it takes to locate your order and go through the refund process. Please be sure of your purchase before placing an order to avoid these fees. If you are dissatisfied with any of our services or products, please contact us immediately so we can do our best to address any issues.

Q4. How long before my items ship? A. Most orders ship within 24-48 business hours. All orders are shipped via USPS Priority shipping with tracking. Dark Side PrecisionĀ does not hold any responsibility for lost or stolen packages once they leave our facility. If you preferĀ another shipping method such as UPS or Fedex please contact us BEFORE placing an order. Pre-order times are listed in the product description individually.

By placing an order for stippling services I hereby consent to the modification of my firearm/grip module/Polymer80/etc. frame and understand that by doing so, the factory warranty may become void. Additionally, the modifications being performed will permanently alter the firearm/grip module/Polymer80 frame and cannot be reversed. I understand that each instance of modification is unique due to the process in which the modification is applied. No changes/refunds can be made once an order is placed.

These terms and conditions release Dark Side Precision, any and all owners, presidents, co-owners, employees, subcontractors and staff from all liability relating to injuries that may occur as a result of work or services performed. By acknowledging this agreement, I agree to hold Dark Side Precision entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. I also acknowledge the risks involved in modifying a firearm from its factory specifications. These risks include, but are not limited to, loss of factory warranty, financial loss, bodily harm or injuries including but not limited to death. I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. By acknowledging the terms and conditions, I forfeit all rights to bring a law suit against Dark Side Precision for work or services rendered.
