FAQs & Lead Times

*The standard stippling lead time is approximately 10-14 weeks.

Lead times may be extended due to any sales, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.

Q1. I am local to the Los Angeles area, can I purchase a product or service in person? A. Yes. While we do not have a brick and mortar store, you can still schedule a pick up. Please contact us before placing your order.

Q2. What is the difference between your Micro Series texture and Signature Series texture? A. The Micro Series texture is a smaller version of the Signature Series texture, and it is quickly becoming a customer favorite. It is very durable, consistent and visually appealing. The Signature Series texture is what Dark Side Precision first became known for and is a good all around texture that is easy to clean with an old toothbrush and warm soapy water. If you are unsure which texture will suit you best, it is recommend you go with the more aggressive texture that will "break in" slightly over time. If you are looking for the best duty/competition package we recommend the Micro Series texture, in an Aggressive Finish, with the logos removed (this is important because it allows more stippling to be applied for the most grip possible).

Q3. What is your Free Lifetime Grip Retexturing Service? A. If your grip or frame (non-serialized) happens to wear down over time with heavy use, you may send it in for a free texturing service. We will professionally remove any old texture and give the grip or frame a fresh stippling package, free of charge (does not include return shipping). Contact us via email to perform this retexturing service.

Q4. My new Dark Side Precision slide has arrived, how do I install internals, sights, optics, etc? A. We always recommend getting parts installed by a certified Gunsmith/Glock Armorer. We are not responsible for any improperly installed parts. For Trijicon optic cuts, please use the two RMR screws provided by us. While there is no break in period for our slides, please properly lubricate them BEFORE initial use. Cerakote will wear over time, no finish is indestructible, but proper lubrication will keep it to a minimum.

Q5. What is your return/refund policy? A. We only accept returns or exchanges within 24 hours of placing your order or before the order has shipped (non-stippling related orders). All returns and exchanges are subject to a 15% cancellation/restocking fee. Any grips/frames that are made to order are non-refundable after the 24 hour period. If you are dissatisfied with any of our services or products, please contact us immediately so we can do our best to address any issues.

Q6. Do you install parts if purchased with a slide? A. Yes, absolutely. If you purchase sights or internals we can install them for FREE. Just be sure to let us know in the notes that you would like them installed.

Q7. How long before my items ship? A. Most orders ship within 24-48 business hours. All orders are shipped via USPS Priority shipping with tracking. Dark Side PrecisionĀ does not hold any responsibility for lost or stolen packages once they leave our facility. If you preferĀ another shipping method such as UPS or Fedex please contact us BEFORE placing an order. Pre-order times are listed in the product description individually.
