Description

STI/Staccato 2011 stippling service on a customer supplied grip.

Send in your STI/Staccato 2011 grip for our stippling service!

Grip must be sent in not attached to any serialized frame. If you are unsure of how to remove the grip yourself, please add on the separate Disassembly/Reassembly Service.

Please be sure to include mainspring housing internals if you have them, as the small pin will be shortened to match the grip reduction. If you do not have them, you may still send in your grip.*

Select "Gen 1 Grip With Undercuts" if your Gen 1 grip has no previous stippling work. Gen 1 grips have round STI branded logos on the sides of the grips (will be removed during the stippling process). Smooth double undercut modification and full grip reduction is included in this package.

Select the "Logos Removed" package for the P, XC, XL, or C2 if you are looking for the smallest grip possible, as the side logos will be removed. Full grip reduction is included in this package.

Select the "Embossed Logos" packages if you have a Staccato P, XC, XL, or C2 grip and would like to keep the factory star logos on the sides of the grip. Full grip reduction is included in this package but is not as significant as the "Logos Removed" package.

"Logos Removed" package for the CS or C will remove the side logos and stippling will be applied to factory panels. Minor grip reduction is included in this package.

*Grip cannot be cerakoted or have any previous work done.*

How the process works:

1. Select your options and place your order.

2. Print out a copy of your order invoice emailed to you.

3. Box up your 2011 grip with sufficient packaging.

4. Ship your grip (signature confirmation) with a copy of your order invoice to:

Dark Side Precision

3550 N. Litras Drive

San Bernardino, CA 92405

5. Once your grip arrives we will complete the work and ship it back.

    Great workmanship

Published by Phillip Ross on Mar 14th 2022

There’s a reason you wait for great workmanship and quality. I purchased this without ever feeling the work in person but I’m very pleased. Just research , be patient, and you’ll be thankful you got this done.

    Staccato Grip Stippling

Published by Todd Palmer on Feb 26th 2022

Worth the wait for sure. I wasn’t certain there was a way to make this gun better, however, this was it. The stippling on the grip and the minor reduction in girth has greatly improved the shoot ability of this gun. Polymer grips have never been my favorite as I prefer aggressive texture on my pistols; this order has exceeded my expectations. I have shot over two rounds since receiving the grip last week, very pleased.

Staccato Gen II grip with signature texture

Published by Jay Hart on Feb 5th 2022

Awesome looking and great attention to detail on the work performed. This should be what the grip looks like straight from the manufacturer . I have not seen anyone come close to the stipple work that Dark Side Precision does, really a step above the competition.

    Aggressive Micro Texturing

Published by Tim on Jan 2nd 2022

Well, this is the fifth (sixth?) grip module I have had done by Dark Side, but the first in the micro aggressive texture pattern. I didn’t think anything could be better than the Signature texture, but once again, I have been proven wrong. I like my grip texture to be as aggressive as possible for duty/tactical roles and this definitely raises the bar. The best i can describe the aggressiveness of this texture is that it feels like someone hand checkered the entire grip at 22lpi. It is so grippy it almost hurts. This might be a bit hard on your skin or clothing in a concealed carry application, but for exposed duty or tactical rig, it is perfect. The grip is locked to my hand regardless of whether or not I am wearing gloves. It looks great and is a perfect example of where form meets function. In this day and age, there is no reason why texturing should not be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Dark Side sets the bar here.

    Worthwhile Addition

Published by Andrew Haskins on Sep 25th 2021

The work is clean. The stippling texture is aggressive without being too abrasive. The turnaround time and price are both very acceptable given the quality of the work. As stated in many other reviews, the pistol does feel significantly better in hand with the slight grip reduction.
